He co-founded Tucker Saddles and helped design the original saddles that made the brand a leader in trail riding.

Renowned for his expertise in saddle fit, Darrell has developed innovative designs and a saddle fit program that set a new standard for a horse’s comfort and performance.

He has worked with horses, mules, mounted police units, gaited horses, border patrol teams and has even outfitted saddles for Hollywood movie stars.

Darrell has been riding since he was a teenager and enjoys riding Tennessee Walking Horses. He is passionate about helping riders stay comfortable in the saddle and believes every ride should be comfortable for both the horse and rider.

His experience and dedication continues to guide Tucker’s mission to craft saddles that redefine trail riding.
