Willi Bauer Oil Paintings Willi Bauer is considered by some to be one of the finest German impressionist painters today. Painting in a classic European style and evoking a sense of tranquility and relaxation, Bauer's subjects include flower markets, garden parties, hunt scenes, and cafes, mountain scenes, beautiful winter landscapes. Born in a small village in Germany in 1923, the artist studied under well known professors in Berlin and Frankfurt. His paintings are in many private collections throughout Europe and the US.
