Neighbor by Roger Langford

Roger Langford is a bull rider and artist. He was raised on the plains of West Texas near Draw. Roger was a member of the RCA ’62-’65 and then when it was changed to the PRCA ’70-’76.

His rodeo experiences began a youngster riding calves and later competing the in the TYRA in the bareback riding and bull riding. In the pro ranks he narrowed his field of choice to the bull riding and was in competition until an injury in 1976.

He worked 11 years as a ranch hand, flank man and pickup man for Tommy & Bobby Steiner, also in those fields at the Texas Circuit Finals and the NFR.

Roger has contributed significantly with his artwork for TRCHF calendars and in many other facets of support for the Association. In the late 60’s he was of significant assistance to the SRA also lending his artistic talents to fund raising projects and benefits. His contributions have been greatly appreciated in all areas of rodeo promotion. He is the Official Rodeo Cowboy Artist for the TRCHF
