Early 20th Century Sterling Silver Spoon w/ Whirling Long Handle

The Whirling Log (tsil no'oli) is a sacred Navajo symbol originating from the legend of a man’s spiritual journey down the San Juan River toward peace and abundance. Traditionally representing good luck, healing, and the life cycle, its four points signify the four sacred mountains. While common in early 20th-century silverwork, Indigenous artists largely abandoned the symbol after the 1930s, making this authentic, pre war spoon a rare collector's piece.
