The Back on Track Brianna Horse Turnout Sheet is a waterproof and highly breathable turnout designed for rainy days and fluctuating temperatures during spring, fall, and mild winters. Made with a durable 1200-denier outer and lightweight 50-gram fill, it provides light insulation while protecting the horse from wind and rain. The roomy fit, high neck, and extra-long shoulder gussets provide added coverage while allowing freedom of movement.

Lining over the shoulders, mane, and tail helps reduce chafing, while the large tail cover provides additional weather protection. Crisscross surcingles and adjustable front buckles help keep the sheet securely positioned, and the tail cord features a plastic covering for easier cleaning. The Brianna can be worn alone or layered over the Back on Track Millie Stable Blanket when additional warmth is needed.

Instructions

To ensure your Back on Track items remain effective and in great condition, we recommend hand washing and air drying, especially for products with hard cases. Soft fabric items may be machine washed on a gentle cycle, but air drying is still best to maintain their quality. Tumble Dry on low heat is an alternative option for soft fabric items only. Hard goods (protective boots and the like) should only be hand washed and air dried.

All Back on Track products share three key care instructions:

  • Do not wash at high temperatures
  • Do not iron with a hot iron
  • Hang Dry or tumble dry lowest temperature

These precautions help preserve the material’s integrity, such as elasticity and shape—not the therapeutic effect, which is embedded in the fabric and cannot be washed out or worn away.

If you're ever unsure about how to care for a specific item, hand washing and air drying is the safest option.

  • Turn items inside out before washing (e.g., garments, coats, blankets)
  • Use a mild detergent without enzymes and always air dry if possible. When opting to Tumble dry use low heat.
  • Avoid bleach and fabric softeners
  • For knitted items, lay flat on a towel to dry
  • Waterproof or water-resistant products should be washed with gentle detergent; avoid those containing Aluminum Chloride, Enzymes, Silver, or Citrine, as they may damage the mineral-infused textiles
  • Apparel and performance gear should be washed in cold water. If shrinkage occurs, gently stretch the item while wet to restore its original shape, then air dry

Avoid storing products indirect sunlight for extended periods, as this can degrade the material over time.

Size & Fit

The measurements are a guide to finding the correct size.

  • Measure in centimeters using a measuring tape.
  • Make sure your horse is relaxed and standing properly.
  • Measure both back length and body length, then choose your horse’s size from the table.

Measuring Instructions

A — Back Length (cm)
Measure from the withers to the base of the tail.

B — Body Length (cm)
Measure from the center point of the chest to the center of the tail. Subtract 10 cm from the resulting measurement to determine the correct size for your horse.

If the horse is heavier built, choose one size up for the best fit.
