Kerry Kelley is a premier self-taught master craftsman based in Weatherford, Texas, the "Cutting Capital of the World." For over 20 years, Kelley has been a leading name in the western industry, producing handcrafted bits and spurs that blend utilitarian durability with high-end artistry. Every piece is hand-forged and finished directly in his Texas shop, ensuring a 100% "Made in the USA" standard.
Artistry and Innovation
- Performance-Driven Design: Kelley is renowned for his innovative swivel points, weight, and balance, developed through direct collaboration with world-champion trainers like Danyelle Campbell.
- Signature Aesthetic: His work is characterized by clean, elegant silver, copper, and gold overlays, often featuring custom floral patterns, brands, or initials.
- Specialized Gear: The product line includes a wide array of correction bits, jointed mouthpieces, and 6-point to 12-point spurs tailored for cutters, reining, and barrel racing.
Industry Influence
- Trophy & Award Maker: Kelley has been commissioned to design official trophy bits and spurs for major organizations, including the NCHA, Fort Worth Stock Show, and the Brazos Bash.
- Retail Experience: His 100-year-old historic retail store in Weatherford serves as a landmark for horsemen looking for both custom builds and off-the-shelf performance gear.
- Legacy of Quality: Known for his lifetime warranty on bits, Kelley’s work is highly collectible and sought after by professional horsemen and western art enthusiasts alike.
