Jeff’s journey into the craft began in 1988 after visiting the shop of legendary maker Jerry Cates to express his gratitude for a pair of handmade spurs. That visit sparked a lifelong mentorship and friendship, and by 1990, Jeff transitioned from ranch management to building high-quality cowboy hardware full-time. Drawing from his own youth spent "cowboying," Jeff operates as a dedicated one-man shop, meticulously forging one-of-a-kind pieces that deliver an exceptional blend of eye-catching Western form and rugged, everyday utility.
