Handmade Bits & Spurs
Handmade bits and spurs are where function meets craftsmanship. Shop Handmade Bits & Spurs at Teskey’s for premium western gear built with attention to detail—clean finishing, quality materials, and designs that ride right and look sharp. Whether you’re upgrading a working rig or building a top-tier arena setup, handcrafted pieces offer the feel and refinement riders notice.
Bits should support clear communication and fit your horse’s stage of training, while spurs should match your discipline and the amount of “signal” you want. For bits, consider mouthpiece type, cheek style, and measurements. For spurs, focus on fit, shank length, and rowel type. With handmade items, small details—balance, weight, and finish—often separate a good piece from a great one.
Because many handmade pieces are small-batch, availability can change quickly. Browse below to find bits and spurs that elevate your setup, perform under pressure, and hold their value through years of use.
