Courts Saddlery

Invest in a legacy of performance with the Courts Saddlery collection at Teskey's. Every saddle is built on a foundation of hand-selected hides and high-quality trees, designed to offer a "close contact" feel that enhances communication between horse and rider.

Our collection features specialized rigs for every discipline, including the legendary Sharon Camarillo barrel racers and high-stability team roping saddles endorsed by legends like Dee Pickett. Whether you are a professional competitor or a dedicated trail rider, Courts saddles provide the balanced seat and durable construction necessary to withstand years of hard use on the ranch or in the arena.

Collection Highlights:

  • Team Roping Series: Heavy-duty rigs featuring reinforced horns and Full Quarter Horse bars, designed to handle the torque and pressure of professional roping.
  • Competitor Series Barrel Saddles: Lightweight, aggressive designs with higher swells and deeper pockets to keep you secure through high-speed turns.
  • Trail & Pleasure Models: Features soft top-grain leather padded seats and short, rounded skirts to prevent interference on short-backed horses.
  • Expert Hand-Tooling: Showcases intricate basketweave and border tooling that reflects traditional Southwest aesthetics.
  • Custom-Grade Features: Many models include dropped C-plate rigging for a more secure "hug" on your horse and rawhide-covered horns for long-term wear resistance.

Founded in 1956 by Tony and Zella Court in Bryan, Texas, Courts Saddlery is a storied family-owned business that has defined Texas craftsmanship for nearly 70 years. Recognized as one of the nation's premier saddle makers, the company is now led by the second and third generations, including Jimmy and Kathy Court.

Courts is celebrated for its Reliable Quality and Functional Design, having been commissioned to create trophy saddles for the most prestigious organizations in the Western world, including the National Finals Rodeo (NFR), the Houston Livestock Show and Rodeo, and Miss Rodeo America. Despite a devastating fire in 2011, the family’s resilience and dedication to their "life’s work" saw them rebuild in College Station, where they continue to produce hand-tooled, American-made gear that bridges the gap between professional performance and competitive pricing.
