Can the 1 1/2 inch Gold Flower Screw Back Concho be screwed into a saddle?

I need two 1 inch and four 1 1/2 inch of these, but they will be replacing the current ones on my saddle and I’m pretty sure they are screwed into with wood screws. Is there a way to make them work?
