Classic Equine Legacy2 Boots - Sizing Guide
To ensure the optimal fit for your horse, please follow these guidelines:
Front Leg Sizing: Measure the diameter of the cannon bone, midway between the knee and the fetlock.
Hind Leg Sizing: Legacy2 Boots are specifically designed to complement the bone structure of the hind legs in proportion to the front. Therefore, your horse's hind boot size will correspond directly to their front boot size. (e.g., if a horse requires a Medium in the front, they will also need a Medium in the hind).
Size Chart:
- Small:
- Cannon Bone Diameter: 7-1/4" to 7-3/4"
- Typically for: Fine-boned horses or those under 900 lbs.
- Medium:
- Cannon Bone Diameter: 7-3/4" to 8-1/4"
- Typically for: Medium-boned horses or those weighing 900 - 1100 lbs.
- Large:
- Cannon Bone Diameter: 8-1/4" to 8-3/4"
- Typically for: Big-boned horses or those over 1100 lbs.
